Responses to Green Paper on attachment of bank accounts

On 24 October 2006, the European Commission presented a Green Paper that considered the introduction of orders to attach bank accounts throughout Europe. Its objective is to improve the efficiency of the enforcement of judgments and European cross-border debt recovery.

The Commission has now published the responses to its consultation on the Green Paper. A total of 67 replies were received. A summary of the replies is published on the Europa website.
