Legal Update - August 2008

Welcome to our summer edition of Business Lawyers newsletter. There are a number of new developments that we are pleased to announce after a busy period of growth.

New lawyers
We are pleased to welcome two new lawyers to our practice. They are Noel De Speville and Fleur Hinton.

Noel is concentrating on PPI-Payment Protection Insurance-specialist financial consumer mis-selling claims, no win-no fee litigation matters and French property matters and has over 15 years experience in law. Prior to joining Business Lawyers Noel founded and ran successfully two prior businesses in personal injury and French property.  Fluent in French Noel joins us as a specialist director in these fields. If you have any connections with IFA's and/or French property do get in touch and if you think you have a viable financial claim please take the 1 minute test here.

Fleur likewise is a highly entrepreneurial and experienced lawyer having founded and then sold on an Australian IP-Intellectual Property-practice before deciding to relocate to the UK. With previous experience as Head of Legal of Pricewaterhouse Coopers Legal Sydney she joins us as a consultant. Fleur is based in Beaconsfield and will travel to meet clients in London, Bucks, Berks and Oxs. Fleur will be focusing on brand protection, trade mark registration and infringement and copyright advices. She also deals with patent applications and design rights so if you have a great idea you wish to protect or want to take advantage of our new free IP Audit and IP Consultation please get in touch.

New legal coverage
We are now pleased to be able to offer clients an expanded brief including an insurance based no win no fee litigation solution for your business needs, an IP audit, a consumer claims online test  and French property advices.

New sister websites
To accommodate our enhanced offering we have built two new specialist websites.

The first concentrates on French property - see here. The second on specialist consumer claims and disputes see here.

New office opened
Although we remain a virtual legal practice primarily we have now opened a new office in Ascot which may be viewed here.

New sales agents and referrals schemes
With all the above happening we are pleased to report there are new opportunities to help us promote our new services. These include helping us win new business and clients and referring to us experienced business lawyers who might also want to join us. If you wish to know more of these schemes please contact us.

New legal support offerings
We also know that that many niche legal practices may not offer the specialist services we ourselves provide and are now able to offer a variety of viable solutions that will enable such practises to seek support without the fear of loss of valued clientele. If you know of any local practice near you that may be of interest here please get in touch.
