Online tool for personal information health check

The UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) has launched an online personal information health check facility to help consumers manage their personal information and exercise their rights under the Data Protection Act 1998.
The healthcheck questionnaire, which is suitable for all individuals, only takes a few minutes to complete and provides advice on many aspects of protecting personal information, with a tailored summary and suggestions depending on how well the person scored.
The ICO's launch of the health check tool comes in the aftermath of several high-profile losses of sensitive data.
